The Medieval Knight is
universal in its appeal he would be suitable for most european countries
of the 14th century, and, of course can be painted to choice.
the body is a one piece white metal casting with the lower rear part of
the surcoat, arms, head and shield to add. A helmet is also supplied as decoration
for the base, or it could be adapted, if you prefer,to fit in place of the
head with its handsome features and film star hairstyle.
A very generous white metal base is supplied with only a shallow depression
to take the corrreponding tag in the left foot. I'd recommend drilling and
pinning the figure to the base (using epoxy resin or solder) for a more
permenant fixture. Cast on detail is good and the figure assembles without
any problems, and is designed in such a a way as to negate the use of filler
on the joins, which are covered by over lapping them with parts.
