The figure comprises 11 parts:

1. Torso / legs
2. Right arm / hand holding cigarette
3. Left arm
4. Head including tin helmet
5. BAR / left hand
6. BAR strap
7. Water bottle
8. Haversack
9. Knife
10. Pouch
11. Base

The parts were all very crisply moulded with a lot of very fine detail. The figure is in a relaxed pose, with cigarette in right hand and BAR in left. The anatomy is first rate and the pose is very natural. The kit contains a number of resin runners, which owing to the delicacy of the parts require very careful removal. The most awkward is the plug on top of the helmet, which requires some care, as the rim on the helmet is commendably thin and consequently fairly delicate. The castings are all finely detailed with a number of the smaller pieces fairly fragile but provided they are not handled roughly I can't see any problems with this.

Although there are a number of runners / plugs to remove the size of the figure means they do not take too long to remove. The base on mine contained a very large plug, which proved difficult to remove, and I have opted to make my own base. The head including helmet is really excellent with the helmet angled at a tilt.

The BAR is another very good casting which bearing in mind the size is extremely well detailed. There is a slight mould line down the left-hand side of the figure but this came away fairly easily with the X-acto.

The arms contain small locating pins to assist in securing the arms to the body. Once the runners / plugs were removed the figure went together very well and there was no issue with the fit of any parts or any need for filler.
