The mounted figure is a Chevau-leger Lancier de la Ligne Compagnie d'Elite 6eme Regiment 1811 designed by Bruno Leibovitz. the horse is in clasic Metal Modeles pose - two hooves up and two downand fits together along joins that can easily be disguised-around the breastplate at the front and the crupper on the hind quarters.
The fit on our sample was excellent and only the bare minimum of filler was needed. Detail on Metal Modeles kits and their white metal castingis to avery high standard- everything fits so well, as any dry assembly will show. Elite Company Line Lancers are colourful subjects and of course with alittle research other regiments can be depicted.
