The US pathfinder is suitably posed on a sloping piece of terrain, for which a cast resin base is supplied with the kit. Of course this base acn be further embellished with vegitation, etc. as seen in the photos. He's armed with the short 'commando' M16A2 derivative of the M16 rifle(M733) with short barrel and smaller straight magazine. The back pack frame for the radio and other equipment mounted thereon is also cast in white meatl, as is the left hand. The righthand is white metal and is cast onto the grip of the rifle. Detail on the cream coloured castings is very crisp and well defined, sharp around the seams and pockets and equipment braces.
