John B. Egert ia s 120mm
figure kit cast in polyurethane resin and posed ready to use his lariat
for which a length of twisted twine is provided. this is virtually in scale
too and the rope looks as good as the photo (painted by PiLiPiLi designer
Le-van Quang) reproduced here shows.
He wears the working dress of the cowboy, brimmed hat , large kneckerchief,
leather chaps and those leather cuffs with studded or tooled designs, dsigned
to keep the long sleeves of his store bought shirt out of the way and to
protect his wrists when working with ropes and a handgun - the then popular
rugged Colt six-shot single action revolver. But he isn't wearing gloves!
Spurs are worn - large wheel rowels with spikes; a spare is included in
the kit, just in caseof accident or loss.
All the parts are very crisply moulded in grey polyurethane resin with a
few pips and blocks to remove before assembly; be careful with the one on
the very fine hat brim.
Other wise everything clicks together with only the merest wipe of filler
