A 1:9 scale US Army Ranger BAR Gunner , Normandy 6th June 1944 (kit WA 9054) is a new, large scale release from Warriors. The Ranger, sculpted by "Team Warriors" is pose looking around a piece of fortification his BAR (Browning Automatic rifle) ready, held at high port.

Its a big kit (the ranger is around 7.5 inches high) with a big price tag to match. The kit comprises large heavy pieces of ceramic (plaster) for the base and the side wall that the Ranger is positioned to be peering around. The figure and his equipment are cast in a cream colour polyurethane resin. There are some large blocks and runners to remove before assembly. Both hands are cast on to the BAR which should make lining up of the hands to the arms a lot easier. The castings are highly detailed and thier fidelity to the master is plain to see.
